About
I am Susan Todd, though my close friends call me Suetodd. I’m passionate about life and all it has to offer. As an artist, I infuse my work with a deep belief in magic and an intuitive understanding of the world. My journey has always been about creativity and purpose—whether it was running a business making clothing from recycled materials or exploring my connection to the environment through art.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been on a quest to stay true to myself. Over time, I realized it was essential to reject external expectations and instead embrace my own inner wealth and connection to the infinite possibilities around me. This understanding became the foundation for my art, allowing me to paint from a place of authenticity and self-discovery.
I love working on small canvases—3x5, 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 inches—because they bring me the most joy. In these intimate pieces, I strive to capture the beauty I see around me, weaving kindness and positivity into every brushstroke. My paintings are inspired by my own photographs of places that resonate deeply with me, serving as visual reminders of the magic I find in the everyday.

During the pandemic, I unexpectedly painted 40 paint-by-number canvases with an almost obsessive dedication. This detour led me to start creating my own landscape paintings, where I began to truly express my artistic vision. While I’ve been painting for years, I feel that only now am I truly finding my voice. I’m just beginning to share this chapter of my art with the world, and every piece I create feels like a testament to the power of following your inner voice and discovering magic in the process.
